Australia's newest ocean passage

The Brisbane to Bundaberg Offshore Yacht Race is a Category 3+ passage along the Queensland coast — an ideal bridge between southern offshore programs and the northern regatta season. The course rewards navigation, seamanship, and consistent boat preparation across an approximately 250 nautical mile leg from Brisbane to Bundaberg.

Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron

The Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron is one of Australia's leading yacht clubs, based at Manly on Moreton Bay. RQYS runs offshore, inshore, and pathway sailing for a wide range of classes, and hosts major passage events including this inaugural Brisbane to Bundaberg race.
